Modern Casa de Playa

This strikingly modern house sits directly on the shores of the Pacific just outside of Todos Santos with stunning views out over the vast stretches of the Pacific. The walls of glass allow you to fully appreciate the wild beauty of the shoreline right outside your door. And you’ll likely have the vast stretches of beach to yourself with just a few turtles and whales!

Designed in contrast to old-world Mexico, the structure is constructed using modern industrial materials and walls of glass offering views in every direction. Luxurious but understated, the interiors are bright and spacious with expansive open plan living areas and a staggered layout over three floors that allows for shared space as well as individual privacy.
About the house:
The first-floor houses both the master suite with a private terrace just steps from the pool, an office and dressing area as well as two additional en-suite bedrooms that sleep a total of six.

The second floor has soaring 11ft ceilings with walls of glass and includes a professional chef’s eat-in-kitchen with lots of space to lounge and dine inside or out. The third floor features a bright living area with three terraces to take in the views and the entire home is furnished and decorated with contemporary art and decor.

The dramatic Sierra de Laguna mountain range frames your panoramic view to the east of the house with the crashing waves of the Pacific Ocean to the west. From November through March, you’ll be treated to the playful humpback whales as they gracefully glide along on their migration route as well as the annual appearance of the turtles as they hatch and make their way out to sea at sunset. This is a magical spot and a great place to share it.

Just outside of the vibrant and historic town of Todos Santos but tucked away on a quiet stretch of coastline, the Pueblo Magico is a great town to explore on foot with fresh organic markets, cafes, and restaurants, art galleries, and more.

Nearby La Cachora was voted one of the top ten beaches in Mexico and is another great spot for whale watching, sunset walks, horseback riding, and swimming. The town is an hour’s drive between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas along the Pacific side of the Baja Peninsula at the base of the Sierra de Laguna Mountains. Pelicans, egrets and herons call the nearby freshwater lagoon their home and it’s just a short walk from the house along the beach.

For larger groups there is a 2-bedroom casita also available for rent on the property. Total price including the 2-bedroom casita is $700 per night.
